Got a growing selection (10GB+) of DivX encoded movies but never really cared for Microsoft's Media Player and would like an alternative? Digital Insanity has a nifty little review posted comparing seven different DivX capable media players. They list such key components as CPU usage, memory usage, and overall usability and features list of each. I personally like Sasami2k. Be sure that if you are watching DivX encoded movies, that you're up-to-date with the newest DivX codec.
