Intel had a Developers Forum on Tuesday and demonstrated their new 2Ghz Pentium 4 to everyone. They are hoping to go into end-user testing by Q4. They are also asking that everyone come together to make a effort for better standards.Barrett drove home his point, saying "I want to urge you to cooperate not only with companies like Intel, but with your competitors. Standards will ... help develop our industry much faster than isolated and competing standards." Hmmmm. I wander if AMD has anything in the works and Intel is just a little worried?
