Apogee Software has been around since 1987. They own the title of inventing the "Apogee Model," better known as shareware. They would release a portion, or episode, for their fans to enjoy as a demo. They are also famous for the first games with cheat codes, which includes "God Mode." Where would we be without that? All of this was accomplished before the internet was even popular!
