Nvidia Introduces Unified Linux Drivers

While many will sing the praises of running Linux on your machine, one thing many may agree on is the sometimes lack of drivers provided by manufacturers. Nvidia has apparently taken this to heart and realized the need to support the non-MS folk and has therefore announced a Unified driver set for *NIX users. The drivers cover the current IA32 (Athlon and PentiumX) architecture, as well as Intel's IA64 and AMD's 64 bit architectures. If you'd like to skip the news and aim straight for the drivers, they can be downloaded from Nvidia's Driver Page.
The new driver includes support for CineFX, the new graphics chip design powering Nvidia's recently unveiled GeForce FX and subsequent generations of graphics chips. The driver also supports upcoming high-end processors from Advanced Micro Devices.
I like the fact that they even include BSD support.
