AOL instant messenger and ICQ are testing to see if they can get their two programs to talk to each other. This is brought to life due to the ever growing popularity of the two programs."They are two separate communities and both are showing strong growth in registered users," Bentley said. "We are implementing the test basically because of growth of AOL Europe and ICQ's leadership in Europe and demand from AOL members who wanted to exchange messages with ICQ users." This is perfect for gamers who constantly run into others that have a different preferance. Now we can "all get along."

uhmm... why dont people just use Trillian and have all the programs in one place?
Forget about combining programs...
