$50 To Change EverQuest Character Name?

Planet EverQuest has a news post up indicating that if you want to change your character name in Sony's EverQuest Online, you have to fork over 50 bucks for the privilege. Evercrack is out of hand. Sony is generating around 7 million bucks a month on this game. Click here to check out the article.

Yep - Sony/Verant are grabbing as much cash as they can. As if it's not bad
enough that they raised the subscription $3/month - now they hose the players
buy charging an insane amount to do something that takes the GMs all of 1 minute
to perform (I know, I've had it done along time ago). Money first, customers
second *sigh*
