SWG Release Date Announced

Oh, how exciting!! I don't know if I can stand the wait, though. LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC and Sony Online Entertainment Inc. today announced April 15, 2003 as the confirmed release date for the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. This highly awaited first installment, which combines Star Wars®, one of the world's most popular brands, with the proven game development expertise of Sony Online Entertainment, is expected to revolutionize online gaming by broadening its appeal to a mass audience. April 15! Nearly four months, and just in time for taxes!! Here's the press release.

Haha - I just hope they hit that mark, they've been pushing it back for awhile now
=P. Dunno if I'll get into it or not, I'll probably pick up a copy and try the first month
and go from there - that's all I need is another monthly gaming bill >_<.

I hope so. I think this is the first actual officially released date. All the others
have been Q4 2002 or Q1 2003, or such. From what I've been following, this
looks to be one killer game.
