Any game like Halo on the XBox, or any other console for that matter, is an experiment in pain and torture. Nobody in their right frame of mind plays a FPS with a controller like that - it's just not natural I tell you. I tried it for about 15 minutes and gave up - give me a keyboard/mouse combo any day.

I have to aggree with Kagato. I even purchased Command 7 Conquer for the Play Station. I tryed playing it a couple of times and just gave up. It was too hard and I wasnt getting anywhere...

I'm with you all the way Mojo. I admit it was very unnatural to play a FPS with a console controller but after an hour or so it was very very easy to move around. By the way Squirrel head, if you have a spelling question just go to www.dictionary.com.

Reminds me of the time they released Unreal Tournament on the PS2.

I stood there and tried to play the stupid game. Got frustrated and started to walk off. The clerk asked if I didn't like the game.

I said no... just can't play the stupid thing with a controler on a console.

THe brilliant clerk said "Well GameShark makes a USB keyboard and mouse that plugs into the PS2"

I would have slapped him. But instead I just asked point blank "So just use a keyboard and mouse... just like on my computer. My computer that's not 10 feet away from my PS2. Buy extra stuff so I can play this game just like I was playing it on my computer?"

Every pause he'd say "Yep" I never went into that store again.

It's definately hate/tolerate thing. I reasonably like it, but mileage may vary.

You know PC rocks with FPS, its good for the gun-ho balls to the wall style of play, but I dont think you get the same reaction and feel as you do when you use a console(mainly xbox).

Console must die, unless it is really kick ass graphics for Pac-Man...
