Talking Mx700

Well, finally picked up one of them Logitech MX700 (wireless) mice the other weekend. All I have to say is that it is one fine mouse, for whatever you do - gaming, surfing, etc. This thing doesn't skip a beat and it's almost like using a BoomSlang to some degree, that meaning that this thing weighs a bit more than your average mouse and I personally like the response/feeling you get from it when moving. I'll admit, it's hard plunking down $70 for something as simple as a mouse (though others have spent more on BoomSlangs), I'd have to say it's well worth it. The only thing I haven't fiddled around with is their drivers - I've heard of some lingering issues in terms of being able to use/map buttons correctly in some games (scroll wheel not working right, etc.) - so I'm not sure what is/isn't missing from them. Haven't had any issues yet with the signal not being picked up by the base station, though it only sits about 4 inches from my mouse surface, but the instructions show a pretty wide angle of workability with it.

I picked up the corded version (the MX500) and I have been very pleased with it! I thought about getting the MX700, but, I figured one of my kids would pick it up and lose it like they do the remotes to the TV.
