Homeworld 2

Whoa!!! That is a nice game. I just bought it a week ago and i can't get enough. Any tips and hints are good cause i suck at it. Or if you just have anything to say about is fine.

Did you have the first Homeworld so you can compare the 2 for us?

Nah. I never bought it but my friend had it. We played a few multiplayer rounds. Just enough for me tell the diff between the two.


Ex: In the first one you had to refuel your ships constantly. In the new one you have no fuel limit. And the graphics engine is awesome compared to the Homeworld 1.

I have both Homeworld I & II. Havent played in a while but would like to talk about it/play someone somtime. I also really like Imperium Galactica II and Earth 2150 I and II (Moon Project). Both are extremely awesome RTS's similar to C&C with the military strategies but more of a mix with Homeworld with the space exploration and planet discovering/development built in. Takes the game much further than C&C, for ex.

I have both HWs mizzouri and they are essentially the same.. Just a slight bit of difference but that is in controls... Gameplay appeared the same...

I dunno I thought it was a pretty big leap between the two. But then I haven't exactly occupied my time w/ the original. I was playing HL too much.
