Anthos and I play primarily Counter-Strike and we are both in clans. I have taken up Day of Defeat again with the 2.0 release.

I would have to say that it is vastly superior to the version we played at the mini-lan. The aiming is more like Op. Flashpoint where the crosshair jumps as you move, because of this I nearly always move with my pistol and kill people Graphics look much nicer. and the new hud is great. Play control seems much better than I remember. The way the guns handle overall is much more realistic than before. I remember being able to bullseye people with the sniper rifle while not using the scope at the lan we played it at, but you can't do that any more. Now you have to go prone if you want any real accuracy with the sniper rifle, even when kneeling it sways quite a bit like a real rifle. Basically the game is much more realistic than before. Everything is more of a team effort and you can't run and gun. Apparently you can also pick up thrown grenades and hurl them back at the other team. Haven't been able to try this yet though.
