I'm up for it.... hopefully I can RMA my monitor before then, since it was mishandled during shipping and now it's colors are completely messed up. (Thank you hard marble floor and rounded monitor bottom)

I have a warrenty for it though.

As previously noted in the other forum, I will most definitely be there.

Remember, Pat, if you need help with anything either that day or early that evening, give me a call (319-631-0526). I am coming into town Thursday night, so I will be available anytime Friday day.

Also, Reflex, if it is just a monitor keeping you from playing, let all of us know. There are enough spare monitors on second and third machines between most of us, that surely someone could bring an extra for you. Hell, I would even bring my extra 21" down from Iowa City if I need to.

Also, to all MwGL members and other assorted old guys, if I can bring my ass down 300+ miles to play, then all of you in the metropolitan area better be there. I am expecting Rikus, Squirrel, Christopher, Shaun, Josh (hmmmm????, maybe????), Pat (Warman), Michael (Anthos ... is he still around???), John, Kevin .... All of you guys better try your asses off to play a little that weekend. I will let Roger off the hook, cause he is even further away than I am.

Also, as noted in the other forum, Sunday day, Rikus, Squirrel, Mizzouri, and I are going out to RenFest as well. Anybody else that is interested is more than welcome to come too. We can discuss and arrange at the LAN.

Reflex, I have my 19" monitor that you can borrow. It has that little scratch on it, but it's unoticeable unless on a white screen. Krogue, are there any games in particular that you want to play? I'm still suggesting R6 and COD. Perhaps Star Wars Battlefront will be worth playing. Of course a little RTS would be good as well!

I would really be up for a game or two of an RTS (American Conquest?)

Wouldn't mind playing a game of Hearts of Iron with a few people... if I can remember how to play.

I suppose I can play R6 if I'm forced into it... not only do I feel like it's too much of a pain to crack, I don't want to buy it because I don't think it's that fun of a game anyway. *shrug*

Maybe I can sit that part out and play some DDR with myself.

I would also like to take up your offer on that monitor for the LAN... thanks.

Oh... and I need a ride again, thanks to being a lazyass and never getting a license.

A special committe was appointed to review "DDR" and we came to the conclusion that it was banned. ROFL......j/k bro!

No particular games necessary. I don't have COD, and have never even installed it. Played it at a LAN on another guys machine, and just wasn't impresssed. Same old WW2 shit, different engine.

R6:RogueSpear is always sweet for me. Love Coop Mode with assloads of terrorists. Especially the sniper Mogadishu map (I have the pack for that). I have 2 retail copies of that game as well, as well as the most recent no-CD crack for the current version, as well as all the upgrade files for each version as well. So, if I need to, I can put together a little noobie no-cd crack CD with all the files on it for those individuals that need it. :-)

Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, UT2004 ... that's what we mostly have been playing up here. Love UT2004 ... especially the onslaught mode.

If SW:Battlefront is out and running, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at that as well. And, if there are a decent number of us, I wouldn't mind breaking out some BF:1942 or BF:1942 DC for some team action.
