January LAN

Anyone up for a LAN in January? I'm thinking Jan 28 sounds pretty good. Anyone else interested?

Good for me... If i did the math right, no kids that weekend...

Not sure exactly. COD 2 is def on the menu though. Maybe the new Ghost Recon will be out. Any suggestions?

I'd like Dec 28 better, Semester starts Jan 9.

Home till then though.

RTS is off the menu due to lack of demand. Sorry Kaiser, due to time constraints it'll have to wait til late January.

CoD2 doesn't bring much more to the table than CoD does, I would love to play some DoD, but since that's hard to pirate I would expect most people won't have it.

The guys we'll be gaming with have agreed to play COD 2, so it's a go. We would like to have 2 more games on the menu for gameday, so please continue to present suggestions. By the way, this LAN will be at a friend's house in Belton and NOT at my house. Start time should be around noonish til 02:00. Will keep you posted on final details.

I'm really blanking on game ideas here. I'll keep thinking.

Drawing a blank over here as well. Since the game will have to be easily ported for some users, maybe Squirrel can tell us what he's got in his game vault.

Not that I'm invited or anything but I just wanted you all to know how utterly pathetic I am...

I need a head count. Besides Squirrel, Reflex, and Mojo, who else is planning on coming? I'll get the adress to the site up later this week.

I would love to add my name to the list... However there are some big if's behind it.

A) I need a new video card.
B) I'm not dead
C) I get the card and neccesary games and actually PRACTICE a few rounds so I'm not a walking target.

Decide on a definate list... and I'll give a more definate answer. So count me as a half for now.

Congrats! Looks like Ben has wrangled a few more in to coming. Should be 16+ easy!

Well, this LAN is in the history books now. Defintiely good to get back in the swing of things. I was considering plannning the next event around the launch of Ghost Recon: Advanced War Fighter, but the release date is set for late March. I'm open to suggestions for adding 1 more game to tha mix though we gamed the entire time on nothing but COD2 and I heard no complaints.

Any weeknd in January :-)

Any weekend in January after January 6th will work. No more workin weekends after that :-)
