Quake 'N Bake - Subjugation LAN Party April 27-28 in Ames, IA

Quake 'N Bake - Subjugation
-=-=-
Ames' premiere gaming event is ready to host their finest event ever on April 27-28 at the Landmark. This is the usual 36-hour event, with as much competitive gaming as there has ever been. Sporting a brand new server and new networking hardware, QNB will be providing the highest level of service; however, we don't expect that either the tables full of prizes or the cash awards will be of any interest. Featuring traditional Counterstrike, Quake 3, and Unreal Tournament tournaments, we have also added some new games to the line-up. Registration and more information can be found at http://www.quake-n-bake.com or email MerlinRML

Many of you who attended previous Quake 'N Bake events know that we have had a lot of prizes. Well we are geared up and ready for our next event on April 27th & 28th and we have even more in-store for you this time around. We're doing even MORE prizes. How can we possibly do more? Well, I have no idea. I didn't think it was possible. I'm not talking t-shirts, either. Well, we do have some t-shirts, but I'm talking more along the lines of cool stuff.

Maybe YOU don't consider an Xbox cool, but some people might. Or maybe you're the business savvy type who would go for an iPaq. Yes, you did read that, we are giving away an Xbox and some iPaqs. And maybe you're too good for Windows XP, or Promise RAID controllers, or all kinds of heatsinks/fans/memory
coolers/chipset coolers, but I'm sure someone somewhere wants this stuff. Arctic Silver III, Everglide pads, Bawls (yes, we have Bawls!), Processors, Ram, Motherboards, Penguin Mints, and more are all up for grabs. And have I mentioned the cash prizes? We have those too. You must be pre-registered and present to win door prizes. In other words, no walk-ins. However, anyone can win tournament prizes.

If you attend this event you're almost guaranteed to get something; and if you walk away empty-handed you're doing something wrong.

The date for the event is April 27th & 28th. Get signed up today to reserve your spot and to get a chance at winning an Xbox or any of the other cool gear we are giving away.

For more information and to register check us out at Quake 'N Bake

As pointed out, we're in Ames, IA.

However, it's quite common for us to get players from Nebraska, Missouri (one of our staff is in Kansas CitY), and Minnesota. Ames is about 3 hours from KC, Omaha, Minneapolis. So, we're right in the middle. It's a 2-day event, so it's more worth your while.

And while IA is not exactly the gaming HQ of the world, going to anything in IA means getting on the highway and driving to the closest big city. By big city, I mean anything with more than 1000 people. So, everyone from IA is used to it.

We're up to 110 people, and there's still a little bit of room left. We're capped at 120 right now.
