Star wars galaxies

Im starting out on Star wars galaxies, and id like to know who all at the mwgl plays it, and which character type I should start out as, please.

I play it. Burn plays it. Sir Raven plays it. Krogue plays it. Rikus Khan plays it. Curve plays it. (anyone else I don't know of?)

Start out as whichever character appeals to you the most. As you progress, you'll find which skills you want/need more for your style of play. One of the greatest things is the ability to surrender skills, so you're not stuck with something, if you decide you don't want/need it anymore. Also, when you start, you will have 250 credits to spend, which will allow you to train in up to two additional starter professions, if you like.

Can you ride around in AT-ST's or AT-AT's?

If you get high enough Imperial Faction you can command AT-ST and I have heard that AT-AT will be on battlefields after the first huge patch (which is being tested on the test center server right now).

I would have to side with Anthos when it comes to making your character. Start out making one that appeals to you, but don't be to set on any one path before hand. All of us that play together have added/removed skills that we originally planned on taking. The game is very dynamic when it comes to make your character. I would never have thought ahead of time that I would pick up Merchant skills and have a store but I have them now.

Durmit, my father has seemed to stretch out the time I get it to 6 more days. I cant wait to get started.

Seems like more of a futuristic everquest than starwars. That is a good thing.

Is there any way I can get the costume of an imperial guard? They were always my favorate as a child.

Id also like to know if I could make a Battle Droid as a droid engineer.

Ok you don't have an outfit of imperial guard when you join that.

Also, if you're going imperial watched your A$$ because almost every city now is full of rebels.

Battle droid? do you mean the one that rolls? the destroyer? if so no, but you can get a probot, the floating ones. I have one name gregory hes such a cutie.
