No Call of Duty .... Noooooo ......

I thought we were going to do Battlefield 2 on Saturday due to the Beta release.

Friday night will be the old school stuff, and we all know each other well enough to play it by ear that night. Saturday is where we are going to want to be a little more organized, since there will be more people and more opportunities to wander.

I vote against UT4 myself and suggest COD UO in it's place.
Also add X wing vs Tie Fighter to the list of games to be played, or another flying game. Let's get that buttoned up on friday. (y)

I vote warcraft 3 with some form of tower defense map... surely most everybody has warcraft.

Variety == good

Combat Flight Sim? (think I still have a disk for this somewhere)
Jedi Knight 2?

Well.... since it won't let me edit my own message after Squirre1 has... IT'S ROGUE NOT ROUGE DANG IT!!!! You may where rouge Squirre1, but don't get it confused with the game.

I really feel I should state again playing X-Wing Alliance over XvT. Don't remember being able to set XvT up so that it's everyone vs a base and SD swarming with Ties Also, I think it would be nice to have another flight sim listed and possibly Jedi Knight 2 (or Academy).

Once again ... no COD. If you really need a WW2 FPS fix, we can play Red Orchestra (free mod for UT2004 and winner of the "Make Something Unreal" contest) and we have Battlefield 2. I really don't want to buy COD and COD:UO just for this weekend.

And, once again, us old guys can kind of talk about Saturday tomorrow (Friday) night and set some ideas down.

Fixed, was fast on the fingers and was not blatently obvious... :/ Anyway... I agree with the X-Wing Alliance as well, They did not really build in 3D support in XvT if I remember right... It was only for 3Dfx...

I am traveling with Laptop this time around, so if it will run on a 1.7 pentium M 512mb with a radeon 7500. Then I will be in. If not, I hope someone brings and X-Box.

You "Old" Guys can talk Friday, but I think we need to have an idea today so I can load up and be ready, I don't like sitting around at lans staring at an install screen.

So I would suggest we go ahead and do a vote for what games to play Saturday, that way I will have them and won't have to tote allot of crap.

I'd say those games would be a really good start and should encompass the bulk of our time.

If it'd been last weekend or next weekend, I'd of been all over it, unfortunately this'll be a very busy weekend for me, especially when you compound it by the fact that Sunday is Father's Day.

I see we still have room for 4 more......

Some one got a Map of how to get there? How early is it starting?

Posted by Reflex on 06-17-2005 03:30 PM:

I think everyone should try to get CoD:UO, BF2 Demo, and AoE2 + AOK installed for Saturday as a minimum.

I'm poor and can't buy a list of 41 games.
