FPS (Frames per Second) Tournament

How would everyone like to have a frames per second tournament.... You do this by installing MadOnion's 3DMark on your machine and running a frame test... Tweaking it.. and the person with the most FPS wins....

hmm... if someone can loan me a mobo with 8x architecture and a processor to match my vid card will win.

With my athlon 1800+ @ 1.53 on my epox 8kha+ mobo, my radeon 9700 pro gets around 11k 3dmarks @ 1024x748 w/ 6x AA and 16x AF.

Not to shabby for a new card on an "old" system.

The trick to getting high bench marks is format right before taking the test and of course have a fast computer.

my friend has gets 14k plus out of a 2100+ @ 2.5 and a 4200. I just have a Dell, but I'm building a 3ghz with a fx ultra in a vapochill case
