heh, oh well, i dont care. but it looks like you guys are staffed well enough to hold big events every 6 weeks, so why dont you.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, the purpose of the Lite event is to give the members a slight break. We also are not sure how many members can regularly make events every six weeks and therefore may not have enough people to regularly hold "full" events so often. The Lite events were concieved so that YOU, the attendees, could come and play more often if you wanted to. Please remember that all MwGL members are VOLUNTEERS and get nothing for coming and working hard at the events, with the exception it seems of attendees throwing fits like children when we try something new.
Please keep in mind that it isn't always easy for people to get a weekend every six weeks off. For example, I work most of my hours on weekends and am only part time since I am a college student. I can't get by without the money so I have to make sure I have the vacation days to cover the loss of income. Vacation days come very slow if you are part-time. They are just enough for me to make one "full" event every 3 months. However if you guys would like to cover the pay I would miss by asking off to be at the entire event then I will be more than happy to run a cs tourney there (by the way I get payed $12 an hour and work 18 hours on the weekend, so you need to come up with $216 to cover me per event). I'm registered for the event on the off chance that I "might" make it for a little bit. This is just my case, I can't vouch for the other members, many of whom are also very busy.
That being said, let me reiterate that members get NOTHING for running the events. A couple events we have even gone into the red and members have chipped in out of their own pockets. Now that you know this hopefully you realized the Lite event wasn't an attempt at screwing anyone over, it was an idea to keep up the gaming on a regular basis so everyone could have fun.
