Where did all the fun go?
Computer games just aren't what they used to. Back in the day there were truly sensational, innovative, and unique. But recently games have been cliched and aren't too appealing anymore.
Yes there are good games out right now, but they're really not anything special. I only hope that the upcoming Half-Life2, Sims2, and the others that are on their way can really bring us out of this rut were in.

The killer in my opinion is when you put a pencil to your gamming habbit. Keeping the computer in gamming shape is not cheap. I have throttled back my PC gamming, and have hit the consoles. Consoles are the best for sports titles like football/baseball/hockey/basketball, and racing titles. But, only the PC can deliver FPS games in their true format. Unfortunately, I am an FPS person and I battle dropping more money on my computer everyday. My old computer can play Doom 3 (barely) so I guess I can squeek it out some more, but sooner or later I will have to give way to the big cash cow that is my gamming habbit. At least I quit smoking (smoking kills you just in case you didn't know).
