Just thought I would post some info I read recently about another release of the orginal starwars movies. Here is a quote from TheForce.net.

Starwars.com posted images of the artwork that will grace each individual original trilogy DVD being released later this year. Available for a limited time only starting September 12th 2006, each DVD contains the Special Edition version of the film and as "Bonus Material" the original unaltered version of the film as well.


So for those of you who like the unalterd version will now be able to buy this set.

Yay... I get to buy ANOTHER edition.

Unaltered. Does this mean that the ending to Jedi is put back so that there really IS a reason Eps 4,5, & 6 exist?

So much for Lucas' mindset that the originals no longer exist. Whore Star Wars title ftw! Never bought the DVD collection as I've been perfectly content with the LD versions. Looks as though I'll finally have a reason to buy them on DVD.
