Who is planning to get this game when it comes out? I know my machine is woefully inadequate to run this at more than 2fps at 120x80 with 2 bit color, so I am saving my pennies and dimes for a new machine.

Just remember that the 9800XT will come with the simgle player version of the game not the multiplayer. Of course, the variuous vendors may offer their own software packages as well.

I'm not sure I want this game now.. We have had to wait how long now after the time they said it would be out? It's freaking rediculous.. they need tighter security, so people that "hack" can't ruin things for gamers like us. So stupid...

You're giving the assumption that it ever WILL come out - it's amazing that Valve has pretty much left everybody to come out with their own theory on the release rather than address it head on. I know it was a pretty big blow to the product, assuming it wasn't some huge faux designed to create more interest in the game, but considering how long they've been hyping the blasted thing, you'd expect something. I personally had never planned on purchasing it though, I'll stick with Doom / Quake
