RAM codes and such quote:

I'm going to be buying another stick of RAM for my system, and while I know you can now slap all kinds of differnt RAM into a system I was mainly wondering about one little difference on the product code on the RAM.

have:CT6464Z265.16T

available: CT6464Z265.8T

What's the difference on the extension mean?

you would have to contact the manufacturer really on that.. It could be a manufacture date, location, what chips they used, what clock it is set at, tolerances... Any number of things...

Everything listed as specs on it hare exactly the same however, including being 64x64, voltage, CAS lat, etc. etc. so I think I'm gonna go for it. I saw something on it once but I can't remember what it is anymore so I think I'm gonna go for it. Thanks for the quick reply.
