Think single day is like $8 and multi is $12 or something like that. And yes it's a Bluestar show, which is probably the best computer show that comes thru town, to my knowledge at least.

Nothing good there, and the prices aren't much better than anything you would find. Most of the stuff they were selling was used, and 99% of the software was junk. Too small to be worth the admission, largely unimpressed.

I guess that sign out in front tht said super computer show and blue star, and the fact it was the Overland Park trade center means I went to the wrong place. Whatever. If you call beige compaq laptops that are five inches thick new, then I don't know what is.


I mean, seriously, how many computer shows do they have in a day, in a town like OP.

Ok, Im definatly not confused and didn't go to the wrong one. I went to the blue star show. It was full of used crap. It had a few new items, but nothing even remotly worthwhile. Very, very lacking.

I just found the recipts from it. Proof enough?

We weren't calling you a liar or an idiot. Damn, dude. Take a fucking pill. All I was saying was that every Blue Star show that I've been to has had a LOT of new stuff for very good prices. Maybe you just don't know what to look for, or were looking at the wrong booths. Yes, they've got used stuff and cheap stuff, but people buy that, too.

The older laptops and stuff aren't used. They are just older models that were never sold, probably set for quite a while in a warehouse somewhere and the vendors picked them up cheap. Yes there is "budget" stuff, but if you know what you are looking for there is a lot of new stuff and great deals to be found there.

The key is to go looking for something in particular (preferrably hardware). If you just go to "look around" you aren't going to find as much by just glancing at the booths. If you are looking for something, like a motherboard and processor for example, and actually go from booth to booth and look into it you will find a gdod deal.
