I didn't compete on any CS team, but I had freinds that did. I wouldn't mind paying 5 or 10 dollars extra to help boost the prize. I would like to see some good matches at the next lan.

It's definately something we're discussing - it's just kind of hard to gauge the entire thing. On one hand, some folks don't sign up because typically the same 3 teams end up winning and they figure "what's the point?", on the other hand, if we start offering larger pots/prizes, we may get alot more players/teams in there for some greater competition and ultimately, more fun. The only thing is we've got to make sure to get the word out as we do this, otherwise, the work would be wasted. Look for more news on this as we work through the details.

not to sound mean or derogatory in any way, but i didnt like the burgers and dogs. I really dislike grilled food, unless its steak. I think the pizza and sandwiches were much better. Id say if we did the split thing, i would go out and eat for one meal, and eat the pizza/sandwiches. once again, dont mean to be derogatory, but the grilled food just wasnt the right thing for a lan.

bah, thats fine. i just dont like grilled food. i just spoke with amdoverclocker today, he also, thought the grilled food didnt hit the spot, one thought if you are going to do it. get better burgers.. all i tasted was the bun surrounding it.

Well, im serious, there was 2 miles of bun and about 4 feet of hamburger. see my comparison? its kinda like kansas being the meat, and the rest of the us being the bun. ME NO LIKEY.

The burgers/dogs were decent...wasnt cool getting cold ones though, which was the case for me with both meals. I personally prefer pizza at LANs, its like a ritual.

I think one meal being pizza/sandwiches, and one grilled food would be a good thing to try
