Atari quote:

Okay, I'd be perfectly willing to bring an atari (one of the old 7800's, old but not as old as some) if someone can tell me what I need to get it connected to the tv they got up there. I think the atari has a UHF connector or something (What ever the little "U" shaped things that used to screw on to the back of old TV's). I got like, a bunch of games for it and stuff, it would be cool.

I don't think you should need the "U" shaped things. If I remember correctly they went to an adapter that basically gave you what many now call a "cable in" hookup (aka the little silver knob on the back of your tv that you plug cable or a vcr into). Assuming you have the right stuff for the console, I think it should be able to hook up to most any current tv. Of course I could be wrong.
