At least get it right, I didn't way CS was dead, I said it was dying. 1.4 is Valve's attempt to make CS even more of a mass market game. Basically it is all about money for them now. This is what is going to kill cs in my opinion. If it had just stayed as a mod, it probably would have been much better off.

Ooh ooh, i want one! goody goody!

i went to the unreal tournament forums, and most of the old cs players are returning back to the hole they once came from, and old CS player started a poll, "CS, Good or no?" and 90% voted no, and the other 10% voted, "Why is this even a question." and this to me, is a pretty deep blow to CS. but hey, soon enough, all that will be left is good people, and really really bad people.(too late.) my 3 cents(yes 3) on this subject. good night......

...cs is still dominating the fps world of gaming and if its going to die it isnt going to happen anytime soon. Even if it was to start dying, it would take a long time before another game rose up and took its place, and when it does, the more power to it. 1.4 hasnt even been released yet and there is a good chance that some of the changes that are going to n00bify cs arent going to happen (specifically the DoD style jumping, i think that is terrible). Even still, CS:cz looks like its going to own.
