If you mean using the laptop as a monitor for the computer, then I'm not sure how you would go about this, I know how to use a monitor as a laptop display, but I don't think any laptops I know of have a male monitor out.

If I understand him correctly and based off of your statement. Taking a LCD from an old laptop and turning it into a flat panel display that can be used on any system...

right Warman...?

I dunno about guides on how to do it, darn near impossible with all the different manufacturers, but I've seen quite a few of them done on the internet. Typically the toughtest part is wiring/mounting of the inverter module (i.e. HIGH VOLTAGE that will put you on, if not under, the ground ).
