For those that remember the large DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks we had last year against some rather large web-sites (CNN, Yahoo, Ebay, Amazon and others), the 17-year-old Canadian, a.k.a. Mafiaboy, has been sentenced to 8 months in a youth detention center. Here's a snip:
Until the end of his probation, the teen is also prohibited from associating with "hacker/cracker" groups or visiting Web sites, chat rooms or message boards related to those topics.
