HomeLAN Fed previews Codename: Outbreak, the tactical sci-fi shooter from GSC GameWorld and Virgin Interactive based on playing the European version of the game that's due on American shores later this month. They also have four new screenshots from the full European version of the game. Here is a snip:
The game’s sci-fi story is very similar (some might even say it’s a rip-off) to the classic Robert A. Heinlein novel “The Puppet Masters”. In the near future fragments of a comet impact the Earth. These fragments somehow contain alien life forms that attach themselves to any human hosts they can find. The player’s overall mission is pretty straightforward: take out the aliens before they take over the planet.Check out the rest of the story.
