Still running your gaming rig off of a 3dfx (Voodoo) video adapter? Then be sure to grab the newest release of V.Control (v1.70 beta) as it has just been released. For those who have never used this handy utility, it's basically an all-purpose tweaking package (registry tweaks, overclock, etc.) for all things 3dfx. The new version fixes/adds the following:
Just to make sure you have the hardware, V.Control supports the 3dfx Voodoo Banshee, 3dfx Velocity, 3dfx Voodoo3, 3dfx Voodoo4, and 3dfx Voodoo5 (like I said, pretty much everything 3dfx).Nailed that nasty bug that prevented V.Control from loading and eating up cpu power. Added an option to make the desktop use small icons. For those who want to run V.Control once and exit, try: "v_ctrl.exe runonce"
