Subject: OS On A Floppy?

News:
Looking for that alternative OS to run on your box to look pimp?! How about one that fits on a single floppy and is written in complete 32bit Assembly (still my favorite language)? Then you outta check out MenuetOS. OK, it's not the most graphic intense OS and the only hardware it supports is a serial mouse, but come one, it fits on a single 1.44MB floppy! In short:

Menuet is a new, 32-bit OS under the GPL and it fits to a single floppy (along with 10 or so more applications that come as standard with the OS). It features protection for the memory and code, it has a GUI running at 16.7 million colors (except with 3Dfx Voodoo cards), sound at 44.1 khz stereo etc. And the most important and notable feature? The whole OS was written in 100%, pure 32-bit x86 assembly code!
Sure it won't go mainstream, but it'd be cool to toy with, and there's no worry to reloading your HDD, so long as you still have that 1.44 hooked up.
