Electric Playground has a Q&A with Ubi Soft's Julien Bares about the cel-shaded first person shooter "XIII":
"XIII is a first person shooter using cel-shaded animation and based on a Belgian comic book by Jean Van Hamme. It's being built with the Unreal engine and will be released early next year for all platforms. Ubi Soft promises 'a conspiracy of epic proportions, and players will unravel clues behind the story's compelling and mysterious events through the game's unique flashback visuals.' They are also claiming a finely balanced combination of action and stealth, unheard of levels of interactivity and freedom, and exceptionally smooth textures and fluid animation. We can't wait to see if the game delivers, and to find out more about XIII we asked some questions of the game's producer, Julien Bares."This game looks to be a hit.
