It's very possible that WarCraft 3 could have been shipped already and on it's way to the shelves. Stop playing your damned beta copies and listen to what GameSpot writes:
While online retailer EB Games has posted an announcement that Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos has gone gold, a representative for Blizzard Entertainment clarified that the announcement was posted "without any information" from Blizzard. The representative would not comment on whether the game has actually gone gold, but said that there would be an official announcement concerning the game soon.We have seen this done before though. EB listed TF2 for sale for a while until they were smacked with the 'Are you stupid?' trout. Time will tell, but I can tell you got excited, you are poking me. Read more if you wish.
