Grand Theft Auto III debuted at number three in the list of best-selling games for the week of May 19-25, 2002. While The Sims: Vacation and JK2 still clutch the top two spots, this result certainly bodes well for the game's success. Especially considering it didn't even get a whole week of selling in. You can take a look at GameSpot's top ten list (retail sales) for the week by going here. Also recently released and selling well is Activision's sequel to its popular shooter, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix.
