If you haven't gone out and bought an XBOX, then now is the time! Heck, even Paris Hilton has an XBOX, which leads to the chance of you seeing her online (I mean XBOX LIVE! you silly kids). Effective today, Microsoft has dropped the price of the XBOX console from $179.99 to $149.99.
To make things even better, Microsoft has dropped the price of some of their titles as well. Xbox Music Mixer will be available for $19.99. In addition, Project Gotham Racing 2, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Counter-Strike will be available starting tomorrow for $29.99. Voodoo Vince and Grabbed by the Ghoulies are available today for $19.99.
Microsoft's Platinum Hits program has grown to include Finding Nemo and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
XBOX is trying to keep up their "growth pace" unlike the other consoles in the US. Xbox console sales grew 2 percent this last year, while Playstation 2 declined 29 percent and GameCube declined 18 percent.
