If you own an Xbox, you're more than likely counting the days until this game hits the market, in the meantime, the folks at GameSpy have their preview of Panzer Dragoon Orta posted. Word:
First thing's first: the graphics and general aesthetics are beautiful. The unique, alien Panzer Dragoon motif is alive and well on the Xbox, and now its quality shines through all the more brightly since it's no longer compromised by underpowered hardware. The game runs at a constant 60 frames per second, with an extremely long viewing distance and wonderfully detailed environments. Judged on a strictly technical level, Orta is among the most accomplished games on the Xbox. Judged on sheer artistry, it's clearly the best.There are times I'm glad I never gave into the urge to buy an Xbox, but then I see games/titles like this and just have to give myself a swift kick.
