Yes, well. That about sums it up. If you haven't found it, yet, then it will surely show up in the next day or so. If you're lost with this post, here's what I'm talking about.

Probably most of you aren't, but for those that prefer the slower pace and are likely fans of such games as Splinter Cell and Hitman, this news is definitely for you. PC IGN has a brand-spanking new review of Hitman: Contracts. Here's a brief snip:Hitman: Contracts, the third game in Eidos' series, is by no means a revolutionary step in the stealth genre, in fact, it's only a little more than a basic upgrade from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. But the pure exploration of stealth gameplay is relatively unmatched in any game on any system. IO has once again created a strategic game of ploys, guises and choices, tailor made with a genuinely brilliant sense of pacing, intelligently designed levels, each layered with dozens of ways to beat them, and enormous sense of style and delivery. While I never could get into the actual game itself (it just didn't do it for me), the graphics and gameplay are very impressive. If you haven't played either of the first two games, I'd recommend checking them out. If you can't find them in stores, here's an alternative. Also, be sure and check out the trailers via the flash utility on the official website.

Rentrak has released their results of the top 10 rented games for the week ending Apr 25. Topping the list is NBA Ballers(PS2) with the XBOX version at 5th. Second place goes to the new release of Hitman: Contracts(PS2). Third is Splinter Cell: Pandora(XBOX), and fourth is Need for Speed: Underground(PS2). The last five in order are Rainbow Six 3(PS2), James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing(PS2), Mafia(PS2), True Crime: Streets of LA(PS2) and NFL Street(PS2). The high earner for the week was NBA Ballers, bringing in $302,095 from PS2 customers and $174,338 from XBOX customers for a total close to a half-million dollars! NBA Ballers is definately where it belongs, but there were a few games that I felt should of made the list that didn't: Tenchu(XBOX) and Fight Night 2004(PS2). FN2004 was definately overlooked as the same old Knockout Kings, but the gameplay is at a all time high for the franchise. Definately recommend you check it out.
