So, I am trying to find a weekend to come down and LAN one more time with the old crew before the kid comes. Since July, August and most of September are out for me due to work, and October and November are out due to the possibility of labor, it leaves me June as my last hope.

So, out of all the weekends in June, the 4th is the only one I can't come down for, so I was hoping that we could get another LAN together over the 18th. Any chance of this?

Maybe we could get together and play some old Rainbow 6 and Rogue Spear, or maybe even play some original Age of Empires and Unreal Tournament. Or newer stuff too, whatever works. I was thinking of starting on Saturday sometime and playing through Sunday morning. That way I could get some sleep in before heading back to Iowa City.

So, who has some space to play, and who has that weekend available to play?

I was just previewing my post and wondering .. Does Duke Nuk'em have an option for TCP\IP? I remember setting up the IPX/SPX and the coax network in mine and Krogue's apartment.

I can easily seat 6. So, if thats what we want to do let me know. I am off Friday and Saturday and 5 of you are welcome to spend the night Friday night and play into Saturday morning. There is a 24hr MickeyD's within walking distance.

Its nice to see how Krogue forgets a name...I too was one of those in the blue springs crew. I do recall living thier for a year...heh but as I mentioned in another post...I cant make it till July so plan one for July and I will be thier.

And to answer your question....I do believe Duke had tcp/ip. I do recall playing with you all and using my flight controls to play it and we were on Squirre1.net...but it might have been the IPX/spx.... I dont remember.

Roger, I would never forget you. I just knew you couldn't be there from your earlier post. The names above in no way signify the full listing of original Blue Springs Regulars, they were just the 6 names that I thought of that looked available for the weekend.

And, Brian, see if you can switch a weekend with Rachel. If we end up at Rick's it is going to be too crowded to have the kids underfoot as well.

Let's just do it at Rickey's. That way those of us that have the whole weekend to blow off can start Friday night and play through Sunday. And those who can only come over on Saturday and play for 7 or 10 hours can come over then.

••• And, people with children should find childcare for the weekend if necessary. Cause, there will only be room for 6 adults, per Rick's previous post. Unless, they will be willing to clean the kitchen and bathroom while the rest of us play. Like Jesus, I love all the little children of the world ... I just don't want them bothering me while I am trying to frag friends and cuss them out for doing the same to me. •••

And, I am trying to get Duke Nukem 3D working on XP for all of us to play ... And , Rainbox Six 3: Raven Shield will be played copiously. I will see everyone the 17th and 18th.
